Description
Join us at the Philadelphia Ethical Society on Rittenhouse Square for a face-to-face dinner conversation on how we can defend and rejuvenate democracy, from the local to the global. Three activists from Mexico, Guatemala and Colombia will join us to share their stories and lessons learned: Mynor Alonzo, Guatemalan political analyst, strategist; Dayana Mosquera, Global Exchange consultant in Colombia; and Alberto Solís Castro, Mexican peacebuilder and human rights specialist.
After an initial panel discussion moderated by Aurora Muñoz from Domestic Workers Alliance and Philip Lindsay from the Ethical Society, we will have small-group conversations over dinner, with guests from multiple local organizations at each table. There will be translation between English and Spanish.
