Isaiah Turner Foundation - Hoops for Hope

  • 5800 Walnut Street Philadelphia, PA, 19139 United States (map)

Hoops for Hope is a high-energy basketball event designed to bring young people, families, and communities together for competition, fun, and a cause that matters. This isn’t just about basketball—it’s about showing up, showing out, and making an impact.

Student-athletes will hit the court to compete for bragging rights, trophies, and an MVP cash prize, all while representing their schools and communities. But Hoops for Hope goes beyond the game—it’s about raising awareness for sickle cell disease and honoring the life of Isaiah Turner, a student-athlete whose legacy continues to inspire others.

This event is designed for all ages, with something for everyone:

Competitive basketball games featuring local high school teams

Skills & drills sessions for younger kids, focused on fundamentals, confidence-building, and fun

Health screenings and wellness resources to support community health and awareness

Giveaways and prizes throughout the day

Music, energy, and a strong community vibe

Opportunities to connect with other student-athletes and community leaders

Whether you’re competing on the court, learning the game, supporting your team, or just coming out for the experience, Hoops for Hope is where basketball meets purpose.

Come compete. Come learn. Come connect. Come make a difference. http://theisaiahturnerfoundation.com
